India is a land of festivals which are a part and parcel of our lives. All festivals are celebrated with great pomp and show. To inculcate the cultural values in our children, a visit to Gurudwara was organized on the pious occasion of Gurupurab. Maintaining the decorum, all of them sat silently with their heads covered. There was a prayer for 10 minutes in which they all chanted- Guru Mantra. They were served with kada prasad and refreshment arranged by the Gurudwara. The spiritual enlightenment is also equally important as academic excellence for overall development of a child. Children really felt happy after offering the prayers.
