Van Mahotsav celebrations create awareness among people about the significance of trees in maintaining ecological balance and a healthy environment. The Modern School, Sector-85, Greater Faridabad actively participated in the Van Mahotsav Day celebrations through the active members of its Interact Club.

A tree plantation drive was organized within the school premises in two different phases. Students from different Grades actively participated in this event. The school had arranged for a variety of saplings, including fruit-bearing trees, shade trees, and flowering plants. Each student was given a sapling to plant in designated areas under the guidance of teachers and staff members and was educated about the proper techniques of planting and nurturing trees.
