Every profession in this world needs upskilling and so does the profession that shows the path to other professions.Teachers play a crucial role in providing inclusive education therefore, it is essential to train them accordingly. Comprehensive teacher training enables the teachers to understand and respect differences and create a safe, inclusive & welcoming classroom for every student. 

For the same purpose, teacher training was organised in The Modern School, on Sept. 15, 2023 on the topic ‘Inclusive classroom’.

Mr. Gautam Behl and Ms. Rupali Godambe from ‘Child’s POV’ conducted the training for the teachers. They discussed how to identify the students with disabilities by elaborating the behaviour exhibited by these students.

Duo also discussed the techniques that can be used by the teachers to deal with these students. Resource persons used small acts and role plays to explain the situations.

The training was very interactive and informative.
