To reiterate the importance of several social sciences and related skills, Social Science Week was observed at the Modern School during the Earth Week celebrations. Students of grades ranging from primary, middle and high school participated with vigor in several activities conducted throughout the week.
The students started the week with a virtual tour of Delhi. The charm and essence of historical monuments along with New Delhi's exciting places was visited virtually underthe guidance of teachers.
On the second day, students prepared beautiful collages in groups suggesting innovative ways of conservation and environmental protection.
Day three was observed as Geographical Heritage Quiz Day. All students participated in the quiz and showed how aware they are of their national geographical heritage.
On Thursday, the whole school witnessed Special Assembly on Earth Day. The highlights included the Dance by ‘Elements of Nature’, a poem on conservation and sustainability, a Students’ talk, and a quiz on Earth Facts.
