“Science isn’t about why, it's about why not? Always question, Always wonder, that is the basic rule of science”.  To inculcate the significance of scientific knowledge in students, and to celebrate the International Science Day, science week was celebrated for classes 1st to 8th from 6th November to 10th November.

The first day of the science week was celebrated by organizing a science fair for the students to introduce learning through different games and activities. A game of Throw the ring and win the prize was set up as a part of the fair in which the students could  throw the ring and win the healthy food item of their choice as a prize. The second game was Spin the Wheel of Fact and Fiction in which students were allowed to spin the wheel and guess the statement as a fact or fiction. Both activities were enjoyed a lot by students and helped them to learn in an intriguing and fun manner. Other than the activities, students learnt a lot of scientific facts through different posters and placards.

On second day ,a poster-making competition was organised for the students in which students portrayed their creativity on the topic-‘ Imagining the next 100 years of science and technology’. Students displayed a lot of intriguing ideas about the development of science in the coming years .

The third day of the event was commemorated with a science movie for the students according to the curriculum going on in class. It was a very enjoyable experience for the students to visualize the topics in the form of a movie.

The events of the science week were thoroughly enjoyed by the students and were a learning experience for students of all grades.
