Red Color Day

“The Colour Red makes everything look pretty”

Colour recognition is a key cognitive developmental step for toddlers, as it plays an important role in object recognition and is a vital part in helping children to develop their descriptive language skills, which in turn encourages clear communication and understanding. Early identification of colors helps to create the cognitive link between visual clues and words.

Today Grade Nursery students were introduced “Red colour”. They all were in Red colour attire. They were shown various objects related to Red colour. They were very excited to see and speak about their favourite Red colour objects and toys. Such activities enhance their public speaking by building their vocabulary related to the colour.

These hands-on activities help students' minds to grow and learn based on the experiences. It is more fun and engaging as it allows learning from real experiences. It engages multiple areas of the brain.

They were told to do tearing and pasting activity on apple craft.  They also did finger printing on Red ladybug headgear. Such activities build their fine motor skills and confidence too.
