The investiture ceremony of The Modern School was held on 6th July 2024. This prestigious event marked the formal induction of newly elected student leaders and office bearers.Prof. Jyoti Raina, Chairperson, The Modern School, Faridabad graced the occasion as the chief guest. It was a proud moment for the parents and teachers to see the students being felicitated on the stage and step into the new responsibilities. The ceremony began with invoking the divine blessings followed by classical dance performance. In her speech, Meera Malhotra Academic Director, Modern School emphasized that leadership is not about titles but instilling values and culture which promotes a sense of taking responsibility for each and every action. She  said that the dedicated efforts of teachers and parents together creates the leaders of tomorrow. The  school introduced a new concept of having school prefects instead of school Head Boy, Head Girl. The purpose of this initiative was to recognize the unique talents of students and nurture their leadership qualities which would enable them to take on the future challenges. A total of 39  members were presented badges and sashes by the chief guest ,symbolizing their new roles and responsibilities. The students took the oath of abiding by the school's values and taking the legacy forward. The newly elected prefects delivered acceptance speeches ,expressing their gratitude and outlining their vision for the session. The chief guest in her speech congratulated the students and appreciated the efforts made by the staff to make the event a success. She reiterated the significance of dedication and the impact of student leaders on the school community. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by expressing gratitude to the chief guests, parents and teachers for their presence and support.
