International Dance Day Celebration
The International Dance Day celebration, orchestrated by the students of S6 class, proved to be a memorable occasion at The Modern School. Embracing environmental sustainability, the assembly was conducted in a paperless format, reflecting the school’s eco-conscious ethos. Collaborating across grades, students presented a mesmerizing medley of dances, spanning diverse cultural and contemporary genres. The highlight of the event was a spirited Zumba session, led by Ms. Nayan Tomer, Zumba trainer at Healthy Hustle Fitness, which saw enthusiastic participation from both students and their parents, fostering a sense of inclusivity and familial engagement within the school community.
Objective: The objective of the assembly was to celebrate the universal language of dance, promote cultural diversity, and encourage physical activity among students and their families.
