The new academic session 2023-24 witnessed its grand celebration on Saturday, April 29, 2023 when the students of Himalayas house put up a spectacular show. Mr. Sudhir Singh Chauhan, Chief Town Planner, Faridabad was the Chief Guest. The day was made special with the presence of Prof. Jyoti Raina, Chairperson, The Modern School, Greater Faridabad, Ms. Meera Malhotra, Academic Coordinator, Board of Trustees, Modern School, Mr. Tajendra Bharadwaj, RWA President, Imperial Estate, SPR Society and Mr. Yogesh Mann, RWA President, Puri Pranayam, Greater Faridabad.

The essence of the function could be summed in the words of Khalil Gibran “Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars” The function began with an invocation of Goddess Saraswati and Lord Ganesha. Music is the universal medium that connects everyone at different levels. Beautiful song and dance performances lifted the spirits of the audience. House Captain, Anaya Jain delivered the house report throwing light on the achievements of the Himalayas House. Senior House mistress Ms. Pratima Srivastava appreciated the camaraderie of the House and motivated the students to build the team spirit stronger. The most impactful performance was the play titled ‘Ashwathama - The Immortal’. It depicted the downfall of an immortal just because he succumbed to anger. The program culminated with the speech of the chief guest. He motivated the students to be virtuous and understand their responsibility towards the environment.
