The beginning of the school curriculum after the summer holidays started with an interesting and simple experiential learning activity explaining to the students about air pressure and vacuum through a very basic hands-on experiment. On 6th July 2023, in the first assembly after the summer break, two students performed the activity with simple equipment, a glass and a coaster to demonstrate the force of air pressure. The students were amazed when glass filled with water was inverted on the coaster and the coaster did not fall due to the formation of vacuum inside the glass and the action of outside air pressure. The concept was presented in such a way that even the junior students actively participated in the discussion session after the experiment.  It was a learning and knowledgeable activity for students of all grades.
