Series of workshops were conducted in The Modern School, Greater Faridabad on November 15, 2022 and November 17, 2022 titled ‘Crowd Funding’.  The resource person Mr. Ranganath Thotaon founded the company 'Fuel a dream' to make dreams of others come true by crowd funding. Crowd Funding is a method of raising money from a large number of people who each contribute a relatively small amount. Students were taught the science of raising money through crowd funding. A crowd funding campaign was launched for the students of The Modern School to raise funds for an NGO which provides school kits to students from low income homes in Uttar Pradesh. All students showed enthusiasm to participate in this noble cause. 

Students from grade S3-S6 participated and could collect a handsome amount of Rs. 2.4 Lac from their campaign. This amount was used to distribute ‘Back to School’ kit to 267 rural children on April 19, 2023. This is a small efforts made by the children of The Modern School to bring a change in someone’s life. 

It was an enthralling experience for the children to help under privileged. 

This activity helped the children realise the importance of giving back to society.
