Our Geniuses
Consider the journey of Rohan, a quiet but incredibly observant student from our school. A few years ago, Rohan might have been encouraged to pursue a conventional path. But at Modern School Faridabad, we saw his fascination with drones and sustainable technology. Instead of limiting him, we nurtured it. Through our Atal Tinkering Lab, Rohan was able to design and build a miniature drone for environmental monitoring.
This wasn't just a project; it was a deep dive into engineering, coding, data analysis, and even ethical considerations of technology, skills directly relevant to emerging fields like drone piloting, smart city management, and environmental tech.
Similarly, there’s Myra, a budding artist with a keen interest in digital storytelling. While art and design have always been valued, the rise of UI/UX design, content creation, and virtual reality art has transformed the creative industries. Myra’s passion was channelled through our multimedia workshops, where she learned graphic design, video editing, and even experimented with augmented reality platforms.
Her recent project, a digital comic highlighting local environmental issues, showcased not only her artistic talent but also her ability to communicate complex ideas in a compelling, digitally-savvy way. This kind of holistic development is what sets us apart.
Our approach is multi-faceted, focusing on equipping students with a blend of academic rigor and future-ready skills. We understand that being among the
CBSE Board schools in Greater Faridabad comes with the responsibility of pioneering new educational paradigms.
Here are some key pillars of our strategy:
Interdisciplinary Connections: The future doesn't operate in silos. We encourage students to see the connections between seemingly disparate subjects. A history project might involve data analytics, a science experiment might require artistic presentation, and a literary analysis could lead to discussions on ethics and AI. This holistic perspective prepares them for complex, interconnected challenges.
Experiential Learning: We believe in learning by doing. From robotics competitions and coding challenges to entrepreneurial ventures and community service projects, our students are actively engaged in hands-on experiences that mimic real-world scenarios. This fosters problem-solving, teamwork, and resilience.
Digital Fluency and Responsible Tech Use: Technology is not just a tool; it's a language. We integrate digital literacy across the curriculum, teaching not just how to use software, but also critical thinking about online information, digital citizenship, and the ethical implications of emerging technologies.
Cultivating Soft Skills: Communication, collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and adaptability – these are the "5 Cs" that will be indispensable in any future career. Our curriculum and co-curricular activities are designed to consciously develop these skills through debates, presentations, group projects, and leadership roles.
Career Guidance and Exposure: Starting early, we expose students to a diverse range of career paths, including those that are unconventional or emerging. Through workshops, guest lectures by industry professionals, and career counselling, we help them explore their interests and understand the evolving job market. This also includes guiding them on how to leverage their education for global opportunities.
