20th January was the day when our respected Prime Minister interacted with the students on Pariksha Pe Charcha. A live telecast was there in The Modern School Faridabad and the students watched with enthusiasm as the PM interacted with students, parents and teachers present in the hall who also posed queries. Hon'ble Prime Minister stated that instead of reaching for "low hanging fruit", the bar should be high enough so as to inspire a person to achieve higher goals. Responding to a student's query on dealing with depression, he offered the solution to write out the pangs and tearing up the piece of paper. The aim should be clear and based on self-assessment and not expectations of others. Make a bigger aim and smaller targets in the way for self-assessment. He continued to say that our learning cannot be reduced to exams only. Our education must equip us to face various challenges of life as well. There must always be something to challenge us and this is a fact as Marks are only numbers, not the assessment bar. Prime Minister went on to say that each child has his/her own potential and strength and so should not be pressurized on the basis of marks achieved. The telecast was motivating for the students and they felt that now they would be able to go for the examinations without any stress.
