The Students of The Modern School, Greater Faridabad had the opportunity to visit the Samvidhan Sadan as part of the birth anniversary celebrations of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel on October 31, 2023.The students were invited to a special program under the program ‘Know Your Leader’. Students were overjoyed to be on the historical premises, the most important monument representing our country’s democratic ideals. Students visited the New Parliament Building and had a glimpse of the grandeur it showcases. The corridors representing the various art forms from the corners of India and tastefully designed gates and architecture overwhelmed everyone.

Students from different schools and Delhi University shared their views on the ideas and inspiring life of India’s Iron Man. Lok-Sabha Speaker Sh.Om Birla presided over the gathering and inspired students to take the legacy and unity of India forward by following the ideals of leaders like Sardar Patel. 

The experience of sitting in Central Hall, which has witnessed the political history of modern India unfold, was a treat in itself. The hall resonated with prose and poetry, infused with patriotism, and enthusiasm of young India. All in all, it was a memory children will cherish for a lifetime.
