"Grandparents are a family's greatest treasure, the founders of a loving legacy, the greatest story tellers and keepers of traditions."

The morning of September 9th, 2023 was filled with abundant showers of blessings, excitement and cheer as the students of grade Pre-Nursery to P2 anxiously awaited to welcome their dear grandparents. 

The Modern School celebrated Grandparents Day with gratitude and compassion for all the grandparents. 

The Welcome song set the tone for the morning with the message of 'love'. The kids dedicated their magnificent performances to their adorable grandparents and enthralled them with their heart touching theatre act, dance performances and musical presentations. The grand finale song 'Tujh me rab dikhta hai' conveyed their unconditional love for their dotting grandparents. The beautiful pictures of the grandparents with their grandchildren in the background were a virtual treat. 

The energetic grandparents participated zealously in the Talent. They were invited to the stage to express their thoughts. Different emotions could be felt and everyone was visibly moved after witnessing grandparents' boundless affection for their grandchildren. 

The attractive and fantabulous decor outside the auditorium invited the grandparents to have their photographs clicked. The grandparents then went to their little ones' classrooms where they were felicitated with a token of love.

Ms. Vinita Cheema, Junior School Incharge of The Modern School expressed gratitude the grandparents for attending the event. It was a memorable experience for both the children as well as the grandparents who left with happy memories, loads of appreciation and heaps of blessings to the school and staff.
