Modern Early Years, Charmwood Branch celebrated World Book Day on the 24th of April 2018 with great enthusiasm and fervor. The day started with the morning assembly where the children had a talk on the significance of books in enhancing their day to day learning and knowledge. Our tiny tots beautifully articulated their thoughts on this extremely important topic. Teachers took children for the library session where they came across various books of their choice and were completely engaged in discovering so many exciting books. Kids read books of their interest.Story telling is one of the most effective medium to create lifelong learning in young minds. Teachers imparted moral education to the students through extremely entertaining and engaging stories (to name a few Lion & the Mouse, The rainbow fish, Hair & the tortoise). Teachers exhibited their creativity and carried fascinating props (Puppets, pictures etc.) along with them to enhance the overall learning experience for the students while telling them discreetly selected stories. Students thoroughly enjoyed these immersive stories and were totally engaged throughout this session. To memorize the special day students designed book mark crafts with the help of their mother teachers.
