Through role-playing children develop communication skills and physical mannerisms which help them later on in life. According to current research, a child's capacity for creative thinking and cognitive flexibility are closely linked to role play. Role-play improves communication drastically. Keeping in mind the benefits of Role-play, an activity was conducted in Grade P2, wherein, kids played the role of a family member. Children enacted like their parents and grandparents. It was great fun watching them enacting things their grandmothers and mothers do. The children really enjoyed the activity and giggled a lot in class. It was total entertainment and changed the environment of an online class.
