With an idea to make kids aware of financial responsibility, an activity- 'Plan the budget for your Birthday Party' - was conducted in Grade P3. Through this activity students learnt to make a bill. They practised it by using basic fundamental operations in terms of money. It can be a challenge for little kids to understand the value of money however such hands-on activities help them to keep a check on the expenses. The students realised the importance and value of money. They were able to differentiate between the wants and needs. They enjoyed and learnt the concept well.
