Young students comprehend the 3 states of matter as an important part of building a solid foundation for the basic science. Students of Grades Nursery and Kindergarten did the science experiment on 3 states of water where they learned about state of water- solid, liquid and gas. It was a surprising for them to see ice changing into water then gas as vapours, vapours cooling again as water and on freezing converting again to ice . Such experiments help in developing problem solving skills of a child. It also nurtures intellectual curiosity, helping them to acquire new ways of asking questions and understanding the world.
