Experiential learning
At The Modern School, we foster a culture of experiential learning and fun activities to enrich the teaching-learning process. In Grade 5, students delved into the profound impact of the 1947 Partition between India and Pakistan, gaining insights into the collective migration of sorrow. Simultaneously, in Grade 4, students embarked on a journey exploring the world through geography, mastering the art of reading globes and understanding latitudes and longitudes. This not only enhanced their geographical knowledge but also honed critical thinking skills vital for their academic and personal growth. Moreover, to further enrich their understanding, Grade 5 students participated in an engaging activity where they wrote their names in Braille Script using different color pens. This hands-on experience allowed them to grasp the intricacies of Braille, a system crucial for reading and writing by touch, particularly for individuals with visual impairments. The activity was met with enthusiasm and enjoyed by all, highlighting our commitment to immersive and inclusive learning experiences at The Modern School.
