A blood donation camp was successfully organized by the Interact club of The Modern School in association with the Rotary Club of Delhi, District 3011 at the school campus on May 21,2022. Banners and posters inviting people to donate blood were put up in the popular public places in and around the locality. Mr. Harish Chandra Azad, President Haryana Punjabi Sanskriti Sangh graced the occasion as the Chief Guest along with Rtn. Jeetender Gupta, District Governor Nominee (23-24), Rtn.Prashant Sahgal, District Interact Chairman as the guests of honour for the day. Ms. Neetu Lamba, National Secretary of Beti Bachao Abhiyan marked her presence as well on this event.

The Chief Guest and and the Guests of Honour inaugurated the event by ribbon cutting and then the event began with the lamp lighting followed by Ganesh Vandana, Dance performances, Nukkad Natak and Musical performances by the effervescent students.

A team of dedicated doctors from Rotary Blood Bank, Delhi ensured the proper testing and smooth functioning of the camp. The camp proved successful as people

participated enthusiastically and as a token of gratitude, the donors have been given certificates, refreshments and take aways.

Moreover, to instill the reading habits, school organized a book fair for students to attract them towards books and make them read more.

The Principal, Ms. Neetu Blest and Ms. Meera Malhotra, Coordinator Board of Trustees, Modern School proposed a vote of thanks to the donors and the Interact Club Members for this noble initiative and expressed gratitude towards all the volunteers for making the camp a success.
